Nigeria 2027 General Elections
Every polling unit needs a witness.
Pick a polling unit — or a whole ward — anywhere in Nigeria and fund a trained COPDEM Polling Unit Volunteer to watch the count, record the result and report problems the moment they happen.
How it works
Three steps. About two minutes.
- 1
Pick your polling unit or ward
Search by name or INEC code, or browse State → LGA → Ward. Choose one unit, several, or every open unit in a ward. Your hometown, your street, anywhere.
- 2
Register in one form
Tell us who you are — as an individual or for your organisation. We create your sponsor account so you can follow your units through election day.
- 3
Fund it
Pay securely online with card, transfer or USSD, or by bank transfer to COPDEM. Your unit is reserved the moment you check out and confirmed once payment lands.
Why it matters
Results are protected one polling unit at a time.
Elections are won or lost at 176,000+ polling units, not in Abuja. Where a trained agent is present, results are recorded on the spot, irregularities are documented and the figures sent up the line can be checked against what was announced.
COPDEM recruits, trains and deploys those agents. Your sponsorship gets one of them to a specific polling unit on election day — fed, transported and connected.

Questions
Frequently asked
What does it mean to sponsor a polling unit?
You cover the cost of placing a trained COPDEM agent at that specific polling unit on election day: their transport, feeding, data to upload results and incident reports, and their briefing kit. Your name (or your organisation’s) is attached to that polling unit on our sponsor wall unless you choose to stay anonymous.
How much does it cost?
One polling unit costs ₦100,000. Sponsoring every open polling unit in a ward attracts a 10% discount. You are welcome to give more than the minimum — extra funds go to agent training and rapid legal response.
Can two people sponsor the same polling unit?
No. Each polling unit has one sponsor, so you know exactly which unit your money covers. Units already sponsored or reserved by someone else are marked on the picker.
How do I pay?
Online through Paystack (card, bank transfer or USSD — confirmed instantly), or by direct bank transfer to COPDEM’s account using your sponsorship reference. Bank transfers are confirmed by our finance team.
What if I don’t finish paying?
Your selection is held for a short time while you pay. If payment is not received in that window, the polling units are released so someone else can sponsor them. You can always pick again.
Will I know what happened at my polling unit?
Yes. Log in to My Sponsorships to see your units and receipts. We will share election-day updates from the polling units you funded.
Can a company, church, mosque, alumni association or diaspora group sponsor?
Absolutely. Choose “An organisation” at checkout. Groups often sponsor a whole ward or several wards in their home LGA.
Which elections does this cover?
Presidential & National Assembly Elections on 16 January 2027 and Governorship & State Assembly Elections on 6 February 2027, as currently scheduled by INEC.
Pick a polling unit before someone else does.
Election day is 16 January 2027. Agents need to be trained and deployed well before then.
